Meetup summer 2011

First topic message reminder :

Hey lads and lassies,

Think its time for another meetup,

Myself and Jimmy are organising a SA meetup for this July/ August. We already have a few people who are interested already, but the more the merrier.

Jimmy has a free gaff at the time, which is in Donegal. But some people on SAS have said that Dublin is handier for them. And of course Galway is another option. I live in Galway, in city centre, so you're all welcome to stay there (i'll just kick my housemate out )

Anyways Donegal, Galway and Dublin are three possible locations for it.

If interested, let me know, and let me know what location suits you best. It would be great if ye could come, the last two were good, and everyone was very nice.

No worries if you have other plans around that time, i understand there'll be alot of people jetting off on their holliers at that time!

galway wood be a good place to meet up i think ?? as for sat........ not sure if i ll make it yet. i ll let ye know thurs/fri. yes...... i tend to leave things to the last min, haha. any news of whos going and where/what time ye meetin up??

Sorry haven't been able to post here - my internet was on the blink over the weekend, so no internet access

Ya theres 5 definites so far, a few can't make it due to work and holidays, which is understandable. And i know it can be nerve wracking meeting people the first time too.

Just reminding people that its this Saturday in Dublin. Meeting at that big spike, thats plonked in the city at 1pm.

I could be running a little late as i'm heading out Friday night so will try and make it up as early as i can. (Maybe 2 o clock).

If anyone is interested in going i can PM my number, for meeting up and stuff.

im still not sure if i ll be going yet. im sick atm with stupid sinuses. middle of the summer and i get a sinus infection, lol. only in ireland !!

Only in Ireland is right - , my sinus like to drain in the morning and if they feel like it continue through out the day. Really half the time I don't know if it is them, a cold or hay-fever, my body hates the summer time!

Just to let you know that i will be in Dublin tomorrow at half one at the spire (god i am fairly tipsy right now as i went out on the lash), so i will have some fuzzy head on me tomorrow

I want to know how this meet up went!

A big thanks to everyone who attended, it was a brilliant meetup, honestly didnt think it would be as good.

It was great to meet people with similar traits, and it was the biggest SA meetup to date, which i didnt think either.

We ended up in Sinnotts (again), and spent a good while lying out in the sun in Stephen's green (and i can't forget the trip to Supermacs, just supporting Galway business like )

Its a pity i couldn't stay longer in Dublin, but i had to get back. But i heard jimmy, kevin and Joe decided to stay on and go on a session, heard that it was great craic, its just a pity i couldnt stay longer.



Well since this meetup was a success, we are having another one, and this time it is definitely gonna be in Galway, it suits nearly everyone, and its a nicer place (no offense, but i really don't like Dublin city, its really not my thing at all, just a personal opinion)

And everyone agreed that Galway would be a great place to meetup.

So Galway it is next

Oh and i just heard back that after i left, the lads ended up going on the lash and then to Copper face jacks, lol. We were actually taking the piss outta the clientele that frequents the place (or the stereotypes of coppers) and then they go there for tha laugh!
