haha, nah I'm still waiting on them to install the new bathroom but everythin else is ready for movin in. So I cant even blame the sea-air!

Agghhh Monday mornings, I hate them so much. Woke up at 4am or there abouts and just couldnt get back to sleep. Bloody knackered. its goin ta be a very, very long day.

Today turned out to be a really good day for me - i happened to get two job opportunities (well kinda) at work.

My supervisor, said there was a position and he wanted to recommend me to the head of the department. He said that 'i'm wasted at what i'm doing at the moment' and that I should move onto a job that would require more responsibility.

Anyhu I'm absolutely flattered that he is gonna try to put me forward for it.

Also on a separate note, i had applied for another internal position in my company, which is a good position. I didnt think i'd hear back from it (as I didnt think i had the relevant qualifications for it), but they want me to do an interview next Monday, so fingers crossed for me!!

I GOT THE JOB PROMOTION, WOOHOO!

I am so frigging delighted, didnt think they would actually pick me for it.

I was also made permanent at my company today - contract is signed, sealed and delivered. Never in my dreams did i think i would be recommended for a promotion. I really am dead chuffed with myself.

But i had to keep my permanency hush-hush, as the people would start kicking up a fuss at work. A few raised eyebrows when people heard of me getting promoted but screw them - i never asked for it, and i work damn hard anyway.

I am over the moon

I am still doing the interview for the job on Monday, but i am still thrilled with my new job. I start after my 2 weeks holidays

Thank you hun, i was abit over excited on Friday, and i had a great night out with the work crew. So i had to share it here

I am really happy the way things are going for me - not just the job promotion, but just life in general. I'm in a positive place at the moment, i just don't want anyone raining on my parade, so I have learnt to not depend on anyone for my happiness, and i feel in more control of my mood.
And i have decided to stay single for the moment - i just didnt want another relationship at the moment, my life is going too well right now so i've had to let my new flame go..................... i just don't want someone ruining it for me, and i won't be bitten twice. I know that sounds kinda selfish, but i really have to think of mental health first, i just can't afford to go through another bout depression, not while my life is gathering momentum.

Oh i am so not prepared for this interview tomorrow - i hope to god they dont start asking me those stupid questions 'so tell me about yourself'.......... Christ where do i begin. I would rather technical questions than that shit.

Anyways i'm in holiday mode for 2 weeks, so i can chill out a bit more.

I just remembered something from Friday night that made me 'lol'. If only every night i could go out, have a few drinks, remember it and not make a tit of myself. I just need to learn when to know enough is enough for me!

Well balls i just remembered Galway races starting tomorrow, meaning traffic will be chronic. The company i work for is right beside the race course - need to try and get to the interview early so i avoid the race goers.

I might head into the races someday, but i kinda find it brings out my SA - Galway city is usually mobbed with large crowds, traffic, and i live in walking distance to all of this, so i suspect my estate will be noisy for the week, especially if people decide to rent the empty apartments for the week.
It'll be like rag week all over again

Already won a few bob on a few good tips for the Galway races.

I was over there today, just for a look before the crowd came in. Big crowd expected, traffic was bumper to bumper, but i managed to avoid getting stuck in it.
